I saw The Force Awakens a few days ago, and I really enjoyed it!!! This is from one of my favorite scenes. Well, okay maybe it wasn't RED lasers whooshing about, but...I'm both happy and unhappy with the final result of this drawing but ah well. I'm stuck between a comic style and...something else, and I don't think it's very appealing. Β Though I think posting more stuff will motivate me to get better. Besides, it's the first day of the New Year, so I'm kicking off a new year in art!

The loose lines and super-expressive poses/faces work well for the scene at hand...!
(I was commenting to my brother the stormtroopers seemed eerily competent in this Episode; call down airstrikes / figuring they couldn't the good guys if they tried)
