Thanks so much! Yeah I never use a scanner, it just over exposes and distorts the picture. :/ I just use my camera or my phone tbh. Does a much better job, lmao.

Well this may be just my personal taste but I think scanners have the advantage of making uniform lighting and often achieving better detail and less blurriness. Maybe you could consider using a scanner and then tweaking the image in a photo editor to your liking. That's my technique anyway.
