Description So here is a picture of a sculpture I did in my ceramics class and have posted before. I did some faux painting using acrylics and submitted it into the 2010-2011 Annual Student Art Exhibit. It took first place in the ceramics division among a very competitive group of submissions.

Very nice. I like the way the incised markings transition from the textured surface to the smoother skull.

Thanks for checking out my work and of course for the compliment witchqueenofangmar2. I wanted to use a form of rhythm that could tie the two halves together and found the typographical runes were a good unifying element.

Atomic, you are too kind. My signature is hidden among the runes in the forehead. It's a pretty massive piece weighing in at 30 lbs.
