Now this is more interesting than the average flower macro shot. It's quite abstract, has vivid colours and a good mix of clarity/softness. I like it.

I wish =\... Im still on my kit lens 18-55 3.5-5.5... I shoot with a Rebel XSI so i did alot of cropping to achieve the macro lol

Nice im between getting that lens or the Tamron 28-75 F/2.8 for my xsi. They cost about the same and im feeling its about that time to make the next step

The blue is amazing I think if you were able to focus on the drops a bit more and make it a little bit clearer you could make this piece incredible!

Thank you!!! Im still rolling with my kit lens unfortunately and I cant quite get my pictures as sharp as id like it was really a struggle to actually get it that far and then enhance in light room. The next time I have the opportunity to shoot something like this again i will keep your advice in mind, and hopefully i can go ahead and get my 2.8

Yeah I only have one other lens other than the one that came with my camera. Sometimes it's better to use manual focus but I still really like this one.

ah Im learning... I thought that and shooting it at F8 would have covered the sharpness of that picture overall... Ahhh are you referring to the droplets in the foreground?

Yeah I know with my camera sometimes when it's on auto focus I can't get it to take a picture where i want the focus so i switch it to manual. and yeah i was talking about the drops in the foreground.
