Ah yes...Beryl...
the slithery character I have most recently introduced and I must say, she's an interesting one....
Been meaning to post this ref sheet of her for a while...

Ight, time to give some insight about her:

  Beryl is a snake, specifically an anaconda/boa, and if you're familiar with how snakes usually are in fiction, then she's kinda what you expect: very smart, sly as any fox out there, a schemer, weirdly charming, and IMMEDIATELY comes off as untrustworthy. Because of Beryl's size and her unpredictable nature, she has an intimidating presence that makes others feel very unsure about being around her. She's always strangely calm no matter the situation and seems to never show any intense emotion or lose her cool.

   Beryl doesn't exactly do much during her free time. She'll usually just be up above, coiling around trees, bored out of her mind as she watches other animals go about their days with her judging eyes locked on them. Sometimes she'll decide to come down and interact with an animal she catches alone. And by "interact" I mean play games and mess around with. Shocker but, Beryl isn't exactly the nicest snake around. Remember when I said she had an intimidating presence? Well, one thing Beryl loves is being feared. She likes to frighten others by literally just being her strange, unpredictable self.
(Although, luckily for any animal she decides to give hassle to, she never has the intention of causing any serious harm towards them [Like severely hurting them or eating them or something]. Doesn't mean she may not ruin their days though.)

  Now while yes, Beryl may act that way towards other animals, there is one individual she acts very different towards. This individual's name is Clyde, a dragon that Beryl befriended one night. He will occasionally come to Beryl's forest to visit her. Let me tell you, Beryl absolutely ADORES Clyde. For some odd reason, she acts very motherly towards him. She is always loving and gentle to Clyde and keeps his general well being in mind whenever they hang out, making sure he's comfortable, relaxed, and happy. Not only that, Beryl even acts as a sort of mentor to Clyde, sometimes deciding to teach him a lesson in life that he may not know about. Overall, they have fun together, Beryl is always happy to see Clyde and isn't afraid to smoother him with love.

  Beryl has two unique abilities/powers. One of them is that she has night vision, obviously allowing her to see better in the dark. The other, the more major one, is that she has the ability to sense the heartbeats of anyone within half a mile of her proximity. She can pin-point someone's EXACT location using this. (Although, this ability only works if someones heartbeat is beating at like...100 BPM or higher) (and as you can see in the ref sheet, Beryl's eyes do change whenever she uses this ability)

Beryl lives in an extremely dense forest thats absolutely COVERED in greenery. The abundance of trees and leaves can make it so gets EXTREMELY dark at night because of the leaves blocking the moonlight. (That's where Beryl's ability to see better in the dark comes in of course.)
