Description
Done for a poster design; an orthographic (failed version) view for poster done in blender and rendered through yafaray. It turned out to be more of an architectural perspective, but I rather like the end result.Related content

i like it very much. although my eye gets drawn to the one stright line down the right hand side. think that needed to be broken up a little.

Haha, I was thinking of doing another render with a different hdri mapping; thanks for the input ;D

This uses perspective; it's not an orthographic camera view. It has perspective lines and the appearance of the triangles changes depending on their height.

Compare it to [link] where I used a regular perspective camera. The camera is rotated .32 degrees, this might be why there is some confusion

Then yafaray and blender are messed up as I used their orthographic settings. Also feel free to point out the vanishing points

I'm following parallel edges, assuming two opposing equilateral triangles create parallel edges. [link]

So it seems the camera I set up is broken (I relooked at it and it is definitely using the Orthogonal camera settings). Either way, I liked how it turned out

That's very interesting. I like it, too, though.

Very nice, how many lights did you have for this?

A HDRI that I used for global illumination
Thanks!
