Took me a bit to realise what end was the front since the right wing engine looked like a face to me (2 eyes and a white grin). Now that I got it I think it looks great

Well done, and no shame to you for placing your creativity on the subject. The background in this case is similar to the stand for a model airplane IMHO. Not what you should be focusing on.

Pretty. I like the BG, but I'd put some bigger stars in it if I were you, of different sizes. I think it would add a lot to the picture. But I still like it anyway.

tessalation and lightmaps... need work.. BAD.. also. .your polys look like u have non manifold geomertry.. but the idea is sweet.. and if u put aside the technical errors.. it's a fun piece

It's a real nice model and all but he entire left hand side of the picture looks a bit whack. The lighing looks a bit strange and the AA'ing doesn't seem to work.

Ehh my opinion doesn't matter. The whole concept behind DD is to get "good" deviantions/artists some exposure. It all comes down to personal preference of whoever picks them. When you see alot of nude DDs, what does that tell you?

yea i kno and i dont mean to sound arogant but there sooo many other deviations out there that (no offence) or better then this one and dont earn the recognition they deserve. i hope the artists dosnt think i dont think he deserves it, its just something ive always wondered about

I guess you can just PM whoever is in charge of the DDs and tell them about a dev you think deserves to be featured.

Very nice. I like the texture a lot, and the lighting and shading are brilliant. I must say, I'm not an expert on 3D art, but I can recognize a good piece of work when I see one: this is definately one of those. I love the design of the machine; very original and dynamic. The colours are quite awesome, too, help a lot on the texture. I love how the tail is like a dolphin's or something. The only thing I don't like, is the background. It looks low in quality, especially those dots - are they supposed to be stars? I can't see to see if they are or not.
Anyway, great work. Oh, and congrats on the DD. Way to start!

I agree very much. THey background could definately use work. I was just screwing around though dude. I wasn't expecting to get this big of a response. But I probably will take it back into my laboratory, give it a bit of an overhaul, and see what I can do. THanks for bein' honest! peace out!
