Believe it or not as simple as he is there was visual development for Bloo too. He started out ghosty and vague and eventually became more solid and real.Related content

Wow, i really didn't think about that before, tho i don't see why i wouldn't have.
I mean, most (if not all) characters go through some sort of development.

Bloo probably has just as many complications. Since he's so simple, he's one of the only main characters that stretches and squashed repeatedly when moving. With Mac, they could just make a few arm movements when he talks for interaction.

See, I've always loved Bloo because of his simplicity. You've taken what is essentially half of a pill capsule, and gave it a personality!

Actualy in "House Of Bloo's" part 4 at the end the monster thing (That looks like pac-man) chases Bloo (who looks like a ghost one you've eaten one of those huge dots)
