Ed started out a lot scarier. My first thoughts were a Bull like Mexican Wrestler hence the big belt and pants. The 'X's on his legs are supposed to represent the laces of his wrestling boots.Related content

Hermm very interesting, I always liked Eduardo's look... it somehow really fits the Mexican look.. but not so much as to be stereotypical or anything. It's like something very subtle.

First of all, let me take my hat off to you. If it weren't for you, sir, and your cartoons, I probably wouldn't of made as many friends as I have over the years. For that, I thank you.
Ed might not be my top favorite, but wow, I really like some of the designs you threw out there for him. The tatoo on one of his designs, I will admit, reminds me a little bit of Popeye The Sailor. Then I like the one with the black and red. Great color combo, I think.

Absolutely, positively, without any reason of a doubt my favorite character on Foster's. Like all of the characters, he has so much personality. But I'm slightly more partial to his design than the rest.

Ed is definately the heart and soul of the series. I can't choose between my two favorite moments. Ed coming from the dentist high as a kite or the ever classic cereal/potatoes conversation with Cheese.

He does look like a bull now that you mention it. His earlier designs were a bit frightening. His current design suits his personality. He's tough but inside, he's such a sweetheart and a baby.
If you don't mind me asking, what is used for coloring the characters?

Eduardo has to be my favorite imaginary friend in the whole darn show. He's just so sweet, gentle, and kind I want to give him a hug so bad!! Too bad there's no Ed shirt for guys so I can't show my love for him to my friends. XD
I'm surprised to see him be the least changed character, but I'm kinda shocked to see a 5 eyed Eduardo. That's just silly, creepy, and kind of amusing at the same time. Seems like you knew everything about how Ed should look from the start.
