Mac was the character that caught my attention the most. I like his owl feather-looking (to me) sleeves, and roundish cube hair. Come to think of it, he sort of reminds me of that foot-ball headed Arnold! Anyways, after I saw Wilt, Mac became my 2nd favorite character. I had missed the first eposide and thought Mac was Frankie's sister. Now that I know he's not, I admire his kindness towards the Foster's home. I just get a feeling from Mac that makes me wish he were somehow related to me as a brother, cousin, son, or at least a friend.

Neat! I love seeing how much the character changed over time. I like how sketchy some of them are, too, because it seems to show that creating characters isn't an entirely serious business--you should just go crazy!

Seems like Mac was always pretty much worked out in your mind with only a few true variations. What really sealed the characters design for me was the incredible voice actors that mirrored the designs!

Mac's early design is too adorable! It reminds me of Charlie Brown, oddly enough. The finished Mac is certainly cuter, though. I've always loved the shape of his hair, of all things... Hahah.

I have to say I really love that image of him and Bloo in the top center! He looks so cute with a round head. I think square was the way to go though, his final design looks great and fits in well with the rest of your lovably zany characters.

I'm enjoying and learning a lot from looking at these development sketches. I'm currently trying to redesign some of my old characters as well as to create new ones. This gives me an idea of how to work through the process.

Definately seemed a cross between "Calvin and Hobbes'" Calvin and "Peanuts'" Linus. The non-outline pic is sweet, very picture book-like.
And can I add that Sean Marquette does a brilliant job voicing Mac, no matter how deep his voice gets
