I normally don't pay attention to any unnecessary features dA adds (I only use the upload/schedule post features as well as updating my core membership on my desktop and favorite artwork using the dA App on my phone). I'm just now seeing this thing called "Fragments."

What the fuck are Fragments and why do I have like 40,000+ of these things????

I did skim through a Q&A section about what they are and what they do but shit still seems confusing to me. :/ Maybe I'm just "old-fashion" and don't pay attention to all these new add-ons.
The only add-ons/new features I'll actually give a shit about is:
-The return of thumbnails for submissions
-Being able to post multiple images in one submission (the max amount could be as low as 5 images; that would be fine by me)

But yeah, just needed a way to ask my watchers what this whole fragment thing was all about and how does it benefit me in any way, shape or form?
