Zala is a lot like Thila , she has a sibling who is a Seeker. But Unlike Thila who just ignored her sister, Zala wanted to get Even. If she couldn't have a power then no one could, not even her infant brother Coda, so she betrayed her parents and her brother to Cryptimus because he promised she would get her own power.

Even though Thila (Alara's Sister was hurt by her parents) She never even thought of Destroying them. Zala wasn't so Merciful.
