This logo can be seen in the TV show "Fringe" in the alternative universe.The name of the font is "Downtempo" which is also used on the "Show Me Cards".

Do you know if this is the actual font used for the FF logo? The one on her beret looks a bit different, with less of a slap serif.

I really don't know what it is about this insignia that I like so much. If I had to choose, I would say either the font or the mirrored center "F" symbol. In a way, it reminds me of the Banzai Institute insignia. GREAT WORK Dietrich!!!!
