I'm gonna miss him, he was a cool fish.
But the place I got him from was selling sick fish appearently.

I bought him when he had a disease.

I'm sure he's in a better place now.
I plan on getting a baby tiger oscar in a month or so when I clean out the tank and start over on the cycling process.

I'm hoping that maybe aquarium salt will make him want to eat.
Cause I did some research and it seems that the only "cure" for hole in the head disease is: Aquarium salt, adding a variety of food and freuqant water changes.
[ They got sick at walmart cause appearently they don't really change the water much and hardly feed them. ]
Cause when I had got them, when they were in their bag... The water was so nasty it made me want to vomit just by looking at it.

Sorry I'm no fish expert the best thing U can do is what your doing...research it! go to a fish forum and ask questions or maybe to a well established (Not walmart!) petstore like one that specializes in fish and ask them. Yeah I wouldn't buy fish from walmart they basically suck XD but it's hard cause fish are so sensitive so ya never know!

I think Caleb is getting a bit better, he started eating again.
I just got to buy him some shrimp, aquarim salt and probably some time of disinfectant just in case.

like CME posted before me there are some fish who have lungs. they usually live in ponds and puddles. They actaually breath air and need to surface for it. My gourami was one of those...and he wedged himself between the tank wall and a log in the tank...;_;
