GOD I SO AGREE TO THIS. I hate hate hate HATE fangirls of all kinds. Especially the ones who draw slash pictures...but what ticks me more is when the characters in the Show/Comic/Game/Anime either have nothing to do with each other or are worst enemys or rivals as a yaoi couple and squeal all over it and say how cute it is. I have don't have anything against real-life gay people though.
Crap,I just realized Siloute-mirage posted something simular to that. Oh well.

Ok for some reason i find the bra very amuseing. XD second, squelly fan girls annoy the hell out of me. (even though at one point early on, i was kind of like that, but i grew out of it. thank God) three, yaoi fans frighten me...they really really do. i have nothing against gays and lesbians, even if i myself dont believe its right...but whoah, the yaoi fans are out there! :shock: and fourth, what i hate most about those fan girls, is that ALL they draw is fanart. I get really bored of complete fanart no matter how beautiful the artwork may be...its my biggest pet peeve i have with Bri-chan. wonderful artist....but she needs a whole lot more original artwork. By the way peeps, that was in no way hate/flame against her. just my personal opnion. but yes...i love this!! *runs off to fav before hordes of bri-chan fans hunt me down and kill me* (

actually it's more like advice. Yes she's an awesome artist ..I hope people out there who are fanartist do more than fanart cause no matter how good it is clients don't want to see it especially if it's anime! believe me I know most companys like traditional style art..not fanart.

Nowadays if you take any higher education art class, the instructor will probably beat the anime out of you, anyway. ^^
You can probably get away with it if you at least incorporate some of your own elements like, say, a made-up monster or vehicle for your character to ride on. That you can get away with.
I'm sometimes inclined to think fanboys are the more disgraceful of the bunch; they can't just draw fanart- it has to be X-rated fanart and they get tons of attention either way. Female artists who depict boys in sexually demeaning drawings tend to stick to "original" characters so I guess they disqualify as fangirls. ;Þ

Ain't it just. Its like blokes who find Lara Croft sexy. As a male, she has massive lips and no waist. I like my girls to be in proportion!!! A lot of the male anime characters are very feminie, or seem to be... that worries me that girls wanna sleep with them!!!

Granted, I can be a 'fangirl' at times (being horribly attached to certain male characters, 'specially in anime... Sorudaaatto~) and occasionally I'll do the squee thing when I see people do (fangirly though TASTEFUL) art of certain characters, and I'll draw fanart m'self, but overall I really try not to be severe about it. x_X I actually hate being grouped with a lot of the others. Especially the *WINCE shudder* heavily yaoi fangirls. x_________x Dear god.
