Lyn showing off that she is indeed a snow leopard hybrid, with some added sass, of course.

So, occasionally I'll post something of Lyn and people'll just think she's a generic feline, which, y'know, fair assumption considering her fur pattern is pure white, but to be more precise, Lyn is a snow leopard hybrid. I actually have a canonical reason as to why Lyn has pure white fur in my story, so it's not just me being a lazy artist. What is that reason? Well, to give a brief gist, she was designed to be "regal" and "pure" looking. That's about as much as I can say without going into her entire backstory. I should also note (again) that Lyn can change her appearance to look however she wants by focusing (also based in her backstory), so that's why she can have spots if she wants to.

Fur patterns are still annoying to design. Technically this is a redraw of the first time I drew Lyn with spots, but like, this is so much better in every way that I don't really consider it a redraw. The pose turned out looking nice, and I think I managed to get her right hand looking okay considering I didn't use a reference for the pose or anything. As far as background goes, I was thinking of doing a snowy outdoor setting with some mountains, trees, and a cabin in the back, but then I decided to just draw Lyn's room instead. Added more detail to her little window ledge by adding a strand of lights as well as put a book on her little bookshelf. Overall I'm pretty proud with how this turned out.

This is only the second time I've drawn the little window nook in Lyn's room, and I've already made it into something important to Lyn's character. I can't wait to get further into my story and start getting into Fenton/Lyn/Kat/Din's character. I'd love to actually talk about their character, but it's just a LOT to explain. That, and I wouldn't want to spoil any character arcs or anything.
