no but all you need to do is create one within your apophysis folder and you will be all set.

ok. do i have to render every flame by hand then? i have no clue about anything with an animated fractal. it's one of the things i haven't tried yet.

create a marble with my tutorial, then run the script and it will render each and every frame for you. Then open gimp and place all the images into one document in layers from bottom to top in the order according to the frame name number. goto the filters menu option move down to animation, then choose optimize for difference. Now save as a gif image choosing animated gif, then choose 100 milseconds for each frame and for layer replacement use combine.
Well that is it in the simplistic form.

oh yeah...it would be rockin...granted I dont' think I would get much work done cause I would be too drawn to the movement and just start at it. You may have to bring the mop and bucket to clean up the slobbering mess

How did you make it?

I will upload my script in just a few minutes. but basically I created an image, applied my script to the image, then used flam3 to render the images out into individual files, then imported all the images (100) into one document layered with the 100 images, then applied (with gimp the optimize option) to reduce the file size, then saved the image as a .gif. I am still writing up the instructions and they will be posted as a tutorial on my website when I get done. Link is below.

I modified the script to do everything within apophysis so you don't have to use flam3. all you need to do is load the images into gimp or photoshop and animate them by layering.

wow, absolutely amazing! All those cogs working together, brilliant
What format did you make this in? I've tried posting animations before but haven't found a format that dA recognises

You need to save it as a .gif file, and then categorize it as Digital Art > Miscellaneous > Animation. I used The Gimp imaging software to make this animation.

I've done it as a .gif but dA limits you to 150 pxls square. Is that the size of your download?
