Mock Bot is an android with artificial intelligence. It’s choosing to look like that instead of more humanoid because it knows that many species don’t take robots seriously. It knows it can get away with mischief if it “plays dumb” So to speak.

Mock Bot was originally created by a friend of Azure King as a substitute for his dead wife. Because Mock Bot is an AI capable of learning, it started acting less and less like the dead wife it was supposed to be replacing, and turned into psychopath incapable of processing empathy.

Azure agreed to take the monster off of his friends’ hands, and now it works for him. It’s basically the Albatross space hotel’s butler, and does all of the cleaning/ laundry.

Mock Bot is capable of creating hologram versions of itself. It thinks rationally, and only seems to care about itself unless Azure reprograms it. It has a defense protocol, and can act as a specific person’s bodyguard when a phrase is uttered.

It sometimes “gets rid of” troublesome guests by taking them out back and burying them alive. Allegedly.
