A babbling subjective reflection on the condition of this spoooky adventure:
...you know. I have worked in my share of institutions...it is amazing how much the hallway size changes with the period of abandonment. Notice how my chair easily consumes 50% of the hallway. My height is under 5'...I would not consider myself to be sooo large. I mean...back in the day, I could imagine only one large person to be wheeled down these hallways at a time. Nevermind probable med carts. Goodness! Not to mention the larger physical proportions of psych. patients (mostly due to medications and poor health education.) But just imagine...wheeling yourself down such narrow hallways, avoiding other patients who could -at any time- hallucinate, be triggered into a panic attack, or obsessive thought process.
I can imagine how such cramped quarters could even induce psychiatric illness.
Were patients even left alone in such a spot as this? It is a fire hazard waiting to happen.
(would all available MHW's please report to the dark hallway)

although...I do have to admit from an acoustical perspective...how much music therapy would have presence in these facilities...ah...the small room/long hall reverb.
(ok HAD to add that in) I have found so many great rooms that I could sit in all day and record in…I just need a more portable recording rig.
Oh…and my faces just keep getting spookier. My sister even said, “no wonder why =JackSilver only takes scary pictures of you…you look like a psycho.” Hum.
I think it is possible to pull off other looks as well.

Nothing like being in the moment.
I believe this is a beautiful example…
....just as surreal as it is real.
