"I prefer playing doctor when it doesn't hurt." We are on day two of Raven's first snowboarding trip, stopped for the night at the cabin we rented.

"You probably should have thought of that before trying a jump the second you got the hang of it then, especially since you already had a sprained wrist from day one then. Need another ice pack?" It was a pretty spectacular fall. Feet straight out from under her the minute she hit the air, a direct landing on and extended arm and tailbone, flipping straight over to land ribs first on a sharpened mogul.

"Yeah.. at least one. Maybe two," she asks, "My elbow is really starting to hurt now too. In fact.. I am really starting to hurt now. I hate it how the adrenaline wears off.." She is definitely starting to show it. In addition to some very nice bruises, I wouldn't be surprised if there were a few bones cracked from that one.

"I know we just went yesterday after you fell on your wrist, but maybe we should pay another visit to the medical centre. Ice is good and all, but I am starting to think you might need more than that and a few bandages Raven."

"Yeah.. I know. Ok, help me get dressed could you? I don't think I can move my arm any more.. and can we walk? I am pretty sure I broke my tailbone on that one, the last thing I want to do is sit down right now"

"Sure thing. While we are down there we should see if they have any of those ass pillows"

"Shut up! But.. if they do.."
