Love the vibrancy of the colors! Reminds me of an exhibition by Hispanic artist that I attended at the Haggin Museum when I lived in Stockton, CA. It was the first time I had experienced such bold use of color and what that kind of vibrancy can add to an artwork.
I don't know if it was intentional or not but I love the contrast the bare tree adds to the piece. The bold color, use of blues and greens and the large bright sun, bring a strong feeling of life and the bare tree while seemingly diminutive, demands a strong focus, a bleakness that lends itself to an interesting balance.
