Watercolour (colours slightly tweaked in Adobe Lightroom)I started this painting about two months ago, I painted these really colourful blobs all over the paper and then didn't know how to continue, so I just let it be. A week ago, I suddenly got an idea of how to finish it.

That's how I usually work with watercolors...wait a bit before finding the finish. Doing watercolors is like owning a cat...you can only do so much with them and they will do what they want anyway.

beautiful, the colors are so rich and you're doing wonderfully with shading (i'm sort of obsessed with that now!). this is so different than what you do most of the time. i like that. the whole thing seems like it has a lot of depth, both emotionally and in an illusory way.
i can't believe all the new things in your gallery that i haven't seen before! i'm glad i finally came to look. you've just been doing great work!
have you ever tried any of the watercolor mediums? i saw them at my art store but didn't really look at them up close, but the idea is intriguing!

I've seen watercolour mediums in a store, but haven't even looked at them yet. Sounds intriguing, but I think I'll save them for later! Gotta have something new in your sleeve for a rainy day.
