I have had this character in my head for the past three months and I finally got up enough motivation to make up a sheet for him :'D
My dad told me about a black coyote with amber eyes he saw close to our house and then the next day the song "Renegade" by Styx came on the radio and that was that, I had to make this character XD

He lives alone in the woods and fields of the Eastern United States and is constantly on the lookout for hunters because of his rare pelt color... oh, and for the fact that he's a coyote (Where I live everyone hates coyotes because they hunt smaller animals hunters like to go after. They are usually killed on sight). He's a bit of a recluse, and can be harsh with those he doesn't know, but once he gets to know you he can be friendly and even loyal (but still sarcastic...old habits die hard). He insists that his few friends call him Ren.

He always wears yellow feathers tied onto the base of his tail fur and the fur along his left ear (his right, your left). Sometimes they fall out or he puts more in (No one knows how he does it or where he gets the feathers from, but he actually knows a family of birds who help him out in both of those respects yes, he is an actual Disney princess) , but he can have up to 14 feathers on his tail and four on his ear. He also has a bullet hole in his right ear (his left, your right) from a quite persistent hunter who killed his mother when he was just a pup. The bullet was meant for his mom but he was able to leap in front of her and distract the hunter just as his gun went off (which was just enough of a diversion for the hunter's aim to be off by a hair and the bullet pierced Ren's ear instead of his mother's head). He has a lot more wild tales I'd like to explore in later drawings, so watch out for those!

I guess his voice probably sounds like Bradley Cooper as Rocket in GotG...? :'D
