Finally had some time and energy to work on something random like this, it's been a bit of a hectic week. And hot! Jeez... can't wait till winter rolls in and I have to worry about closing the windows so I can trap some heat in instead of blasting every fan in the house in the hopes of circulating some muggy air.

Anyways, not sure how/why but the video capture got totally borked, which sucks, but I'll get to the bottom of it eventually. I tried a different approach to my normal routine of going with an grayscale underpainting and instead going straight with color...and I suck at picking colors lol. I think if I can set up a palette and practice it then it would be a bit of a smoother run, but yeah for now I'll probably stick with my original workflow.
