The flames by design hide so much stuff in this, but I guess that was the goal I set out to accomplish when I started up on this. I wanted to draw some kind of mysterious figure floating amidst these crazy flames, her cloak clearly on fire as well but not burning her; I thought it would look weird, albeit 'correct', if the cloak itself didn't catch fire at all so I threw a bunch of flames on to hopefully sell it better.

I'm terribly out of practice illustrating faces that are lit from the bottom, that's something I need to tackle sooner than later. I like the overall feel of the piece, it's terribly rough though but I do want to work on this further. I think there's a nugget of possibly a cool piece in here and would like to try to bring that out more. At the very least fix her face up properly
