So I made that thing! It's a mini deck-building board-control PVP card game that fits into a mint tin, like Altoids-sized little metal thing. It's for a competition going on at The Game Crafter, one of the places i make my card games at. I've always been super fascinated with small things, mini objects and playsets, Micro Machines and Japanese playsets have been a part of my brain for decades, so something like this really tickled my fancy. It uses art from Fields of Eleria, got the okay from the TGC folks before I went with that, but the game is all its own.

You have a set deck of 54 cards and each turn a player reveals 3 cards from the top of the deck. With 4 dice used as resources they can choose to 'buy' a card from that row, play a card from their hand, draw a card from their deck, or use dice to attack other cards in play on a 3 x 3 grid. First player to control 5 spaces at the end of their opponent's turn wins. Pretty simple but things like the order of actions you take matter, luck of the roll, etc., so it's a pretty variable game that can be played quickly, but also has lots of strategy to it.

Costs $22, the materials cost aren't the cheapest because it's made to order, I just make a couple bucks for each one that sells. I have a small 8-card print-and-play PDF you can download and print up if you want to try out the game, a downloadable rules sheet (it's a simple game, rules all fit on one sheet of paper heh). But yeah, I looooooooove small games like this and it was a lot of fun making my own using assets from my own little universe
