Not quite a representative of the humanitarian organization but hopefully just as effective 😉. My original idea was to have the banner proportionately much bigger, so the knight would be like half standard bearer, half knight, but as I was sketching things out it felt like an odd idea so I scaled it back a bit. The sword originally wasn't gonna have a crossguard, I wanted the cross on the banner to be the prime representation of the theme but...yeah, crossguard it is.

The spines/spikes on the armor were a late addition, again going on the feel of things, I thought a pointed element like that would be a nice addition since you could take it different ways. On one hand it's just an interesting defense system, a strong deterrent to getting too close to him if you're not heavily armored, and yet on the other hand you could think of it as a metaphor for the thorniness of religion, how some wear their faith as their armor and while it protects them, it also deters others from approaching them because of it.

Oh and I thought they looked cool
