DOODLEDUMP TIME!C'MON GRAB YOUR FRIENDS
WE'LL GO TO VERY
DOODLEY LANDS
Heyooo, it's that time of year again, m'dudes: here's my fall doodledump!
I feel like there's not as much stuff as previous years (or a least, less "big" drawings), but then again, I did spend a lot of time doing Inktober AND a ton of hovercycle designs, so ... yeah, that compensates I guess!
Anyway, this year features:
-Car and vehicle drawings from refence to help me get ideas for my hovercycle (and as someone who never draws vehicles, a challenge!)
-Lady Columbia logo brainstorming (again, for the hovercycle - my whole team used the logo on their own vehicles, so that was cool)
-STRANGER THIIIINGS!
-A smaller doodle of that forest-deer thingy I made back in september
-Faces from characters from musicals
-Really weird shit involving Bob, a 3D model we use in our Animation class to practice techniques on. Although these Bobs are ... very unique. The class group-chat loved them though.
-Huh, only two AoT doodles this time: some female titans and a Hobo!Eren from the latest chapters
-Icarus face doodles
-ANGELICAAAA....ELIZAAAA...and some Peggys!
-Action line examples and center of gravity examples (again, Animation class)
-IT'S-A ME! Basically trying to find a definite version of my persona ... to no real avail.
I'll also take this time to wish a Merry Christmas to all you lovely folks! Happy Holidays and take care!

WHOA! All that vehicle stuff at the top is awesome! I've always wanted to get into drawing cars, motorcycles etc. but all that detail is daunting! You've seemed to have taken all that in stride, though. Great work!Β

Aw, thanks, that means a lot!
Vehicles are definetly new territory for me, so I'm glad you think so!
My teacher actually gave some good advice when wanting to practice cars (or well, anything new for that matter): draw a bunch and draw them quick (5 minutes max)!
Spending way to much time on sketches is something I tend to do, but forcing yourself to not concentrate too long on one drawing helps you to be more bold with your lines, so you don't concentrate too much on details and more on overall shape.

That's fantastic advice! Like you, I also spend much more time than I should when it comes to simple sketches and I end up abandoning it when it doesn't turn out the way I want it to. I'll be sure to utilize that tip!
