i had troubles uploading to a folder on gmod-ponies group, and now i've testing the contributor capabilities...Now is working as i can see...

True, but there have been level creators who've managed to program some of the mods so that anyone on their computer will see the mods on that level.

You mean "anyone connected to the server will see the mods that server has applied to its machine's copy of the game/software"?

I think what happens is that the stage comes with a package of the mods that will be used an installs it into the user's machine as they download the stage.

Really? The few pony servers I've joined (like Equestria Daily's TF2 server, for example) didn't do that. Can you link me to (or give the IP address of) a pony server that applies pony mods to its maps and stuff, but only when you're connected to it?

There is the Pony Fortress 2 server who outside of the chat emotes, uses the standard TF2 material.

I've been in servers that add pony dispensers (play 8-bit pony songs), and people can play sound clips from the show with text commands, but what you described doesn't sound that interesting.
