Description
This is for the garrysmod mlp contest for "Ponies dreaming"After party, ponies must go to sleep because i want...
The process of the map was a bit hard...I'm kidding, was a really BUTTHURT!
The map was made with props in my 3D max [link] based on "Look before you sleep"
So the topology is the same, well, some times the same chapter did contradictions about where must be the library
Anyway, i was looking for be part of the contest making a big thing, but as you know, "No privated models"
Doesn't matter, here you have the map model
The download content the models, materials, and 2 maps (Day version and night version)
I spend 14 hours in this shit so please contest manager...Don't crap me again ¬¬

I've been having some issues with this map. I took the folders and placed them in where they're supposed to be, so I load up the map, and it's covered in purple and black checkered patterns/missing textures. How do I fix this?

well, actually that's sounds like if you didn't installed the folders correctly

Well, I placed the map files in the maps folder, the models folder in the models folder, and the materials folder in materials. They are all in Steammapps/common/Gmod/Gmod

So, I loaded the map in SFM today for the first time and something is not working right.Β
This is what im looking at after loading: Β sta.sh/02562qlh8kqx
I renamed the map folder to maps and merged all folders into the usermod folder in SFM. Something is not quite right.Β
Anyone have any clues? Same happens in day map.Β
It also complains about HDRΒ

I have a question about the background in the night version of the map.
Is it suppose to be showing as it is on your image (moon and stars), or is it suppose to be like this? dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/34β¦ cause this is what it looks like when I start it up...

I don't wanna piss you off or something (I saw some other comments) but is there a way you could send me the 3DS Max Source file so others could eventually expand that map even further? It's already nice tho! But editing some few more things wouldn't be bad

It's a 3DSMax file, it's not for Blender.

No, its not compatable, I assure you. It lacks HDR lights, making everything washed out and rendering AO useless.

yeah maps materials models, everything in the compressed archive is extracted in its proper place.Β

you know what happen when you make it HDR? you obtain a sick colorfull and brightness map, also i'm don't like shadows on a pony, because they shouldn't have them...Is a cartoon! Make the HDR and put AO is like give a weapon to a damn pony...They don't need it

I put the items of the folders in what ofΒ foldersΒ it says in the download, whateverΒ is, just put said folder in.

it works, it just doesn't have hdr lighting. so no ambient occlusion.
BTW, by default, it will be invisible, you have to turn everything on in the display option. Right-click the viewport and select draw game entities and check other entities. (or just make sure everything is checked to be safe.) otherwise you will probably be staring at an empty skybox.
and at first, it will be very bright. uncheck enable lighting (when right-clicking the viewport). then recheck it.
