Cobi, I don't even know what to say. This is by far one of the prettiest art trades and one of the prettiest pictures I've ever seen done of Colleen and Lale and I'm actually stunned so speechless I can't even use emoticons to express myself.
I know over my notes I was giggly and raving about them but the truth is, Colleen and Lale are almost more than imaginary friends to me. They're kind of like my light from a time when my life was really, really messed up, and they're so important to me that I was actually kind of scared to ask you to draw them because I wasn't sure what I'd see from your portrayal. They're so private and dear to me that it was scary, y'know? Like, I wondered how you saw them from that incoherent and half-joking, half-scared note conversation we were having.
All I can say is that I'm just absolutely blown away and this is more than I could have asked for. Like, ten times more, a thousand times more. It's beautiful. They're beautiful. You have everything that embodies them here, feathers to chains to stabbing blades, to light versus darkness to them holding each other to that beautiful clothing and OH MY GOD EVEN THE RAM SKULL HELMET. From the birds to the pearls to the lace to the expressions just... wow. I can't even. This is what I dream about when I see them at night and... just... god, I'm so grateful to you for spending so much time on them and getting this absolutely perfect.
My only request is: is it okay if you email me this picture in a larger size? I'm so in love, I just wish I could see it in a higher resolution. I understand if you're not okay with that but... just... I'm kind of shivery and half in tears here, this is affecting me that much. Like I actually have to take moments to look and moments to back away to stop staring because I've never had anybody draw them this true to how I see them. It's scary. It's wonderful. I love you so much for doing this, just, wow, it was an honour to trade art with you

You're right. It IS dangerous, unless you have a GIGANTIC watermark. A lot of people are scared of art thieves but my theory is, if your watermark is FRIGGIN HUGE and everybody can read it even though the art may be resized to 400 x 400 pixels, then it's free advertisement (y). A lot of art thieves aren't patient enough to remove a well-implimented watermark, such as overlay with glow or colour manipulation using the text over the image C:
