Which I was wrong to think of because the author's intent was that he was not trying to rape her but I caught it off as he thought of it but did not succeed in it. And he did not succeed because he is really a shy sweet guy that can manipulate people (AKA Zeus) into helping him out, but only when they are willing to and that he really does care about Persephone in a sweet way that she finds unwelcoming.
