1 of the earliest signs that Spring's just around the bend... is the frogs croaking their songs in the night!!! Made this little bouquet today for a dear saint who's long been a pillar in our church... & is on her journey home. She's waited 100 years for this moment... & soon, she'll be with her Jesus!!! What a glorious day! She grew up playing with frogs, & still loves them till this day. The bow is hand-cut By: Me & made from an old feed sack that I found in our attic that's nearly as old as she is. Helen grew up locally here in rural WV, & was a schoolgirl with my late Grandma, Anna. They went to a little 1 room schoolhouse that used to sit where our church's parking lot is located today. Helen & her son Gary were 2 of the VERY best Sunday school teachers I've EVER had in church, E V E R!!!
