.............of what I once was

I don't know how to water or reflection in the water

anyway!
a little something featuring my lovely Shen cuz he deserves love too

and now, one of my many unnecessary random stories!

Shen spent all of his day out of the city, he was not in the mood to talk to anyone or do anything related to the city, he needed to be out side, away from that place.
He walked around letting the gentle braze purify his lungs and clear his head, before he knew it it was late and the moon had taken the place of the sun in the sky, it was time to go back.
Shen folded his ears back and just as he was about to return to the city something in the water called his attention, something shiny. The tiger got curious and decided to see what it was, he walked to the edge of the river(?) and looked into the water, the only thing he saw was himself. He started into his reflection for quite a while, looking at the features of his face, the fur of his cheeks, and the scar on his eye. That scar, the permanent reminder of what he did that he will have to carry around on his face, that damn scar. Shen brought his paw up to touch the left side of his face a little, he closed his eyes shut as a small growl escaped from him, he hatted that scar. He brought his paw down and just when he was about to turn around and walk back to the city a soft breeze came from the North that made small waves in the water, and there, right in front of him, his reflection changed. Shen's eyes opened wide as his jaw dropped slightly, it can't be, it impossible. Shen took a few steps back not believing what he just saw, it was him, but not the him he is now, how is that even possible? Shen moved forward to see if it was still there, and as soon as his head was over the water the reflection appeared again, it was blurry and really hard to tell what it really was, but he knew deep inside that it was him. He stared at it and it stared right back, it looked like him when he was younger.........more specific, when he had just joined the bounty hunters. Shen dropped his body to the ground as he continued to look at his reflection. He inspected every single detail of it to be sure, it was him, no doubt. His face was clear of scars and his fur was still soft and short, the face decorated with a sweet smile and his eyes glowed with hope, he remembered that smile and that glow in his eyes. He could not belive that the tiger that was looking at him from the water was the same one that had caused so much pain to the cats he loved. Shen felt his heart braking inside him, why had he changed so much? why can't he be the same one from back then? Why had he made so many mistakes? This questions and more took over his head, and just as they did the reflection gave the large tiger a soft smile as it's eyebrows moved, giving Shen a sensation of relive from the reflection as a whisper from the wind said "it's okay, Shen" and just as the words echoed in his head the reflection disappeared "no...." Shen said in shock "please" he said mostly to himself as he stood up and moved his head closer to the water "no!" he roared in anger as he hit the water with his large paw. Everything around him remained silent as he sat down with his head low "....please" he repeated under his breath as he closed his eyes softly, that night he slept by the edge of the river, hoping that it will return, but it never did.

The next morning he just got up and slowly made his way back to the city, he knew he was going to get hell from this but he didn't cared, his mind was not in the bounty hunters at the moment.

He's been through a tough time but I can guaranty you that it will pass, he wont stay like this forever.
