"Unexpected" was not a word Gabe would use to describe his brother's appearance at his door. "Miguel!~" greeted the Gliscor with a tight hug "Gabo!~" replied the Swampert as he embraced his brother, a little too tight to say the least. Gabe began to laugh and cough a little "okay, come on, man, I need to breath-" Miguel picked up his little bro from the floor with a playful growl "come on, man, I haven't seen you in years" mocked the water type before putting the poison bat down. Gabe cough once again and laughed "a year is not years, learn how to count" Miguel grabbed Gabe in a wrestle lock and dragged the smaller man into the house "yeah, yeah, shut up" chuckled the Swampert as Gabe struggled to get his brother off of him.

Once Gabe was free, they could finally get to talk "well, now that you've almost broken my neck-" he gestured to the door they just walked through "let's go for a walk". Miguel looked puzzled, he glanced at the door and then back at Gabe "I just did" his confusion clear by the tone of his voice "why would I wanna go outside? 'is freaking cold" ah yes, of course another Abencio would always feel too cold in a foreign city "come on, Migue, we kinda need to talk and a walk will help" Gabe grew more serious now, which made Miguel realize that this was actually quite a serious thing "......alright, fine..............but you gotta give me back the scarf you stole from me" a cocky smirk on the Swampert's face "I......how......w-how do you.....fine" stuttered Gabe before giving up and complying with the demand.

The two brothers walked down the street "for whatever's worth, I didn't steal it-" started to explain Gabe, only to make Miguel laugh "I borrowed it" replied the Gliscor with a cocky grin "I had to have something to remind me of my annoying, big-ass bro, noh?" Miguel laughed and shook his head "you know what? just, just shut up" Gabe laughed quite loudly which lead to a series of uncontrollable laughter from the two brothers. They kept on pushing each and shushing each other, people who passed by them probably thought they were bonkers, drunk, high, or all in one.

The Abencios reached the park, it looked beautiful with all the changing colors, Gabe learned a lot about his brother from the last time they saw each other "wait, so, Skyler keeps telling Will what to do?" Gabe repeated with a hint of amazement in his face "every day, probably why he doesn't come around as often anymore" Miguel laughed and Gabe did so too "oh god, I'm so proud of that kid" Gabe said between chuckles, he truly was proud of the little Croconaw, such a bossy little thing~ "oh man, but hey, I'm glad to hear that things are going good between you and Ary~" Gabe elbowed his brother "you really hit a rough spot there" Miguel chuckled before sighing "yeah, we did, but hey-" the Swampert shrugged "that's what any marriage is bound to endure at some point, the important thing is that we prevailed, we worked through it-" Miguel explained in a more serious tone "because we are crazy for each other, and honestly? it will always be worth to fight for in the end" Gabe stared at the taller man with pride, he truly has come a long way "either that or we are both too stubborn to let it be otherwise" and to that they both laughed because it was true, these two were too stubborn for their own good.

They reached the edge of the part, a medium wall separating where the park ended "hey, how about your special little señorita?" asked Miguel with curiosity. Gabe took in a deep breath "well-" there was a permanent smile across the Gliscor's face, but there was also a sense of nervousness "dude, you okay?" Miguel seemed worried, he placed his large hand on the Gliscor's back, to this Gabe laughed "yeah, yeah, I'm fine, no need to worry" he chuckled at Miguel's reaction "it's just, there's something I gotta tell you that ain't all that easy" Gabriel explained.

They both leaned over the concrete edge, Gabe grabbed a hold of his own hands, almost playing around with his long fingers. Miguel knew better than just brushing this off as being the cold, he knew Gabe well enough to know he was truly nervous, and the wait as to now why was killing him. Miguel crossed his arms "alright, come on, out with it, you are dying to do so" he gestured at the Gliscor's hand to which he laughed "yeah, I-I am". A soft and cold breeze hit the two brothers "I....well, Yinra and I....-" Gabe chuckled, he began to tear up a little "we-" oh the anxiety was killing Miguel but he was not going to pressure the Gliscor ".....you're gonna be an Uncle, man" Gabe finally said, which cause a huge grin to part Miguel's lips "no" he said in disbelieve and awe "yeah" Gabe reassured with a big grin of his own "HOLLY SHIT" Miguel screamed out loud in glee, he began to laugh as random Spanish words and curses came flowing from his mouth "dude, holly fuck CONGRATULATIONS" Miguel brought Gabe in for a tight hug "oh dude, I'm so happy for you two!!!!" Gabe was just gone by now, as in tears were streaming down his face "thanks, Migue" he said between sniffs and chuckles.

Miguel placed the Gliscor back onto the ground, but kept a hand on his brother's shoulder "you have no idea how much this will change you, in a very, VERY good way" in Miguel's eyes Gabe was still a young kid, that was not going to change, he would always be Miguel's little brother, but damn; he knew the Gliscor was more than ready for this "you have a big roller-coaster ahead, little bro, just try not to puke too much" they both laughed. Gabe took a deep breath "one more thing-" Miguel gave his devoted attention to Gabe "I'm gonna ask for her hand" Gabe said with the same large grin, which lead to a similar reaction from Miguel as before. "wait, now? when? do you even know how???" Miguel began to question his brother "I-I don't know yet, I don't have all the details down but I just figured if someone has to know it should be you" Gabe said, punching Miguel's shoulder playfully. They were eventually asked to leave the park, but on their way home, they talked none-stop about all of this life-changing occurrences.

They knew that the next time they will see each other, it would be with tuxedos and a small kid by their side.
