I'm a sucker for Hurt/Comfort ficsNot the angst usually, more just of how the worry comes through and worry leads to moments the characters share where they can seem even more amazing and relatable
sadly, I'm not comfortable enough with my writing to actually write or post, so I have to rely on the talent of fanfic writers
This was just a scene I had in my head from a story I'll never have the courage to write, a play with lighting and a different style :/
I wish there was a fic/blerb to go with it

I have no actually seen the BBC version of Sherlock Holmes yet, but I am a fan of Holmes in general so I prolly should check it out at some point....and maybe write something, always have wanted to just never really had a decent idea.
I quiet like this picture, just the shades of it intruige me and even though he's hurt I swear he's smirking.

I just have a hard time fleshing out the general idea. Do you have a way you go about it or do you just write what comes to mind?

well, you need to have a general idea in your mind. thats for sure, otherwise your story goes all over and is screwed up.
then you need to know where you want the story to go. just don't focus to hard on the end.
thats about it. you need to be sure of your charcters and then you just let your characters go where they want, but you need to keep control of them. Guide them if you will, but let them have freedom.
And always remember, the written word is powerful. the characters are real on that paper.
