When I first got my GS2, I was a little bit lost with all the options, but I quickly got the hang of it within an hour, rooted and installed a custom rom on it.

well, i have an HTC incredible S, and apparently there is no method of rooting and s-off available for my model of phone

When I got my Android, the guy recommended I didn't get an HTC. I told him I like to tweak, so he said HTC was not for me. That's probably why.

well, you cant root them but i wouldnt say there bad for tweaking. it is still very possible to do many of the things you can do with a root on an HTC phone (like theming, and i mean full theming).
