His hair was golden, read Prospero Burns. Also, he hated his spear, at one time trying to hit the moon with it from the fang (resulting a 2 week search to locate the artifact). Great picture, red works, as I suppose that it looked red in most cases, but when close to him it wasn't red at all.

Russ had bot a spear and a frostblade. When they released the model during Rogue Trader (WH40K second edition) he was equiped with a frostblade gifted to him by the Emperor. It wasn't until William King wrote the Ragnar Blackmane novels that there was mention of his spear.
