update: it's been only a week, and i already decided i wanted to polish/re-draw noah's ref (': i am a compulsive revamper, sorry not sorry

finally done with my submission to the miraculous holders group =w=;; it's been laying in my stash for like a month and i'm so sad i haven't been online to finish it aa....but my son is here now, pls love him..

- a small keychain that hangs on noah's belt, that can change in size, but with a thread limit. the larger the ball, the shorter the line of thread (or "chain"), as well as the opposite.
special power: the power of sleep
special move: "caffeine boost" the threads of his weapon will begin to unravel, and release a sleeping sand, that will suck the enemy's "awake energy" and leaves them unconscious. This "energy" gets absorbed by noah in one shot, and he will get a strong burst of energy that improves his speed and overall ability to its limit until he runs out of time and changes back. when he does go back to normal however, he will be ridiculously tired, and may pass out himself ;;

bio: noah spent most of his childhood/tween years in india, but his family moved to the united states when he was thirteen, which was...a disappointment to say the least. his grandparents had moved years before he got to know them, but his family eventually followed despite his opposition, after a few of his other relatives moved to be closer to them as well. he resented this, and absolutely hated his new "home" all throughout his high school years. he felt strange, out of place, and couldn't relate to a culture so twisted compared to his own. it...led to a really significantly rebellious time in his life.
looking at the bright side, noah began to bond well with his grandparents, and felt truly at home working in their antique bookstore. through his work, he began learning more about his family history, and was eventually given an old family heirloom (the civet ring) as a gift for his eighteenth birthday. it was strange to him at first, as he only knew the animal to be a pest and a nuisance. he didn't quite care for the ring--after all, it didn't even fit--but because noah cherished what it meant to his family, he carried it around on his lanyard, to be close to home, in a sense.
on that same day, noah went off to school, and rather than going to class, hid underneath the stadium for a power nap. it was there that he witnessed one of his classmates slipped off of the bleachers during a workout. Now, Noah didn't particularly like the guy, due to the fact that he was a bully and constantly picked on others during free period. However, despite his resentmet, noah went out of his way to call for help, and took care of the injured until help finally arrived. After all of the commotion, Noah noticed that his ring was missing, and assumed he dropped it when he ran off for help or left it underneath the bleachers. He felt guilty for the rest of the day, not wanting to admit to his grandfather that he'd lost it.
that night however, he found the very ring in its box, neatly placed on the bed in his room...and that's where he met macci

-macchi is also...quite the little troublemaker. he is always messing around and getting into mischief.

trivia:
-noah usually avoids other people at school, and typically goes out of his way to only use his miraculous at night, as he is always napping during the day.
-when noah transforms into his hero persona, the anonymity gives him confidence, and he acts extremely different--he comes off as incredibly charming, energetic and amicable. his true inner brightness comes out at this time.
-a lot of people don't quite know what a palm civet is, and his city wrongly named him the "night cat"
-noah is...pretty insecure about his height.
-noah is constantly wearing a hoodie or pajamas to school. he doesn't really care about what people think of him.
-he reads a lot, and doodles all over his assignments. oh, and his grades are alright..

headcanons:
- he will fight anyone who jokes about his height or messes up his hair. do not mess with this boy's hair.
- ya boy collects cool and funky keychains and buttons. they're his favorite thing, and his lanyard and bags are covered with them
