The editing on this photo is very interesting and I really like it. It's cut off at kind of a weird place, where the belly button of the model is barely in there. Other than that I think this is very nice. Beautiful model, and congratulations on the Daily Deviation feature.

First of all thank you for choosen my pic as daily deviation! I`m very surprised and i`m feeling honored and quite happy about that!
My passion is to photograph people. I love to capture feelings, expression and special moments.
As a hobby photographer i`m learning from books or from the internet and so on and i'm experimenting a lotโฆand this is the resultโฆ

I think that this is a lovely shot. I like the angle, meaning, I like how the model isn't in the direct center of the picture. I think that the change in color tone looks neat, I like the greens and purples. The pose and model are both beautiful; she really has a great face and body. The feeling I get from this picture is something foreign, like it makes me think of a vacation at a beach, or riverside. This photo makes me want to travel or buy something. I want what she's selling, haha. Like that bracelet she's wearing, or maybe makeup, or perfume. I think it's a great picture, and I love it.

I'm afraid I'll have to agree with seewolf, coco1986.
Though the model is very pretty, your edits have taken away the most of the value to your photo. Due to toying with the contrast too much you've made the picture very flat, and the greenish tinge isn't really flattering for model. As for the photo cropping... Well, It would've been better if you didn't chop off her fingers, but I guess it can't be helped now.
The model is gorgeous but I'd give the actual photo 3/10.

I agree with you completely. I have seen way, way better pictures in deviantArt that are more worthy of a DD.
I don't mean to sound like a troll, I really don't, but with so many beautiful pictures by utterly talented artists in this site, I believe that a badly-cropped picture does not deserve a DD.
I am no photographer, that is true, but I do not need to be one to know what is right and what is wrong.

thats what i want to say, there are so many great photographers here but the get lost in the mountain of bad photos.
everyone who has a camera and photoshop think that they can make great photos. but a snapshot is a snapshot, no mater what kind of post processing you force on it.
thats really sad.

its not a ok picture, its a badly framed snapshot of an pretty model with a 'cool' post processing, and everyone falls on there ass when they see picture like this.

It's not because it's not perfect that it means it's bad. I noticed the mistakes that could have been fixed, but in my opinion, I think you're being slightly rude in your comment.
Instead of writing out all the mistakes and throwing them to the artist, you could simply spot them out and tell them calmly how they could fix them and then they would improve and they'd not make the same mistakes again. That way you would help out the artist, without being mean or anything.
I'm not saying my point of view is the best or whatever, I'm only suggesting a way of doing.
Anyway, that's only my opinion. Sorry for the bother.

im pissed of because this isnt a photo for a dd. it simply isnt, it has to many mistakes. even if you fix them, still its only a portrait of a pretty girl, nothing special. and i see this kind of photos getting a dd more and more often.
in my opinion dd should be reserved for something new, something better then a average portrait with so much mistakes.

I know that it`s not a "perfect" picture, i`m learning by myself and experimenting a lot and I am very happy that it was chosen as a dd and i am always open for criticism, so I can improve myself constantly.
If you are not satisfied, you can discomfort but it`s not necessary to be rude and disrespectful!

Great picture. I like the tones. I especially like the faded color of the leaves behind her. It makes her stand out more. And she's a pretty model.

I think if she didn't have the make-up under her eyes like that, this picture would be much more flattering for her. The upper eye make-up is fine, though.
