Rin: Thanks for lending me one of your brushes, Al. I swear to Chii, this damned hair needed it right about now.

Alvern: Any time! I was a bit surprised to see you, actually. Haven't seen you since your recovery from that one incident.

Rin: Yeah, yeah. I know. Life's been busy and well, had to adjust walking on three legs.

Alvern: And you've gotten used to it?

Rin: More like gotten the hang of it. 'Course it was difficult at first but I managed. Albeit the throbbing pain that I had to endure almost made it unbearable. Damn glad that's over... Anyway- how are your daughters?

Alvern: They're doing great, likewise! Just the other day I took them into a field of flowers to enjoy some fresh air. And to overall spend some more time with them since they love flowers as much as I do.

Rin: And knowing you, a field of flowers always makes your day.

Alvern: Heh... can't argue with that. How are your sons?

Rin: They're both doing good. Though I did leave them and Jaime worried when that whole Deela thing happened when Wyngrew had these "things" appearing on our backs.

Alvern: Y-Yeah... I've heard about that. Sounded terrifying, to tell the truth.

Rin: Honestly... That was the most dreadful experience ever.

Alvern: More than losing your leg?

Rin: Well, both scenarios could've killed me. So, you tell me.

Alvern: Heh.. right, right. B-But you're doing better now. And that's good! And... I'm also relieved about that. We can try to catch up now that the whole fiasco was over.

Rin: Damn right. *plucks a string of hair from Alvern*

Rin: Hm. Well... Think you can trim my hair a bit? It tends to be a pain in the ass dealing with the length I have. Especially when it has to be brushed or combed. Almost like I have to put up a fight just to get it to come out right. I only want a little bit cut off. That way it's more manageable and bearable to put up with.

Alvern: O-Oh! Yeah, sure! I think I can do that. I got the right type of scissors at home for it.

Rin: Good. Hope you know how to handle them.
