It seemed no matter where the man and his lady guide ended up in this foggy land there was an unusual tree visible in the mist.

Unnerved, the man finally decided to ask his unaffected escort about the matter.

"U hm....I know this sounds crazy but ....um... why is it...that, no matter where we go there's that strange tree always behind us?

The lovely guide never even looked up at him or behind her where he indicated the thing of concern to be. Instead, looking ever in the distance, she calmly said, " That Strange Tree.... is my husband."

I just made this little story to justify that surprised look on his face! (smiles)
