Guess who got Paint Tool SAI!!!????!?!?!?!

Anyways, I have been needing to draw this guy for a looooong time now. So this is my Soul Calibur IV character I made using the character creator.

He is painfully a goody two-shoes and remarkably graceful... I was honestly going for an X-TREME Musketeer look and this is what I came up with. Obviously uses Ivy's style of fighting because nothing is more awesome than a snake sword - when you don't cut yourself that is. Anyone who knows my Alan character, this guy is very much like Alan in levels of adorable "oh, you think you're going to talk this giant monster down?"

So onto d'Armand himself:

Back story:

d'Armand was a guard for certain high official until the Evil Seed turned the official against the people, forcing d'Armand's hand. Amidst the chaos, he managed to return home, however he was too late to save his wife from the malifested that were tearing down their home. He fought them off, finding their daughter, Yvette, hiding in her room. He took her and ran to find somewhere safe to wait the world out. He trained her in the art of the sword, fencing manifesting into her preferred style.

One day, she was kidnapped by beings of the Nightmare. He did not know what their intention was, however, nothing would stop a father from destroying a world to save his daughter. His interest in the Soul Swords did not arise until he found out that his daughter would be used in a ritual involving them.

Personality

d'Armand would rather use words before drawing his sword, but when words are not enough, he is not afraid to eliminate the obstacle in his way, especially if they are preventing him from getting to his daughter. He treats his opponents with respect and grace, swiftly defeating them with his expert snake sword fighting style. Sometimes his good nature gets the best of him, but only once, for he feels the world can still be saved.
