My first reaction when I scanned this was, "WOW! did I really draw this?!" surprisingly I did, and this is my second submission for the pastel contest. This time I did not use grey, but I mixed white and black together as suggested by the pastel pheonix. This is great! You've improved massively since the first entry I must say! I believe the fact that you were forced to blend to create the grey really made you improve instead of just using one bland shade across a piece. I love the stance of the horse and the yellow streak across the sky - looks fiery. The winner's article is here: [link]
