Kain has existed for a long, long, LONG time. She was there when the crystal gems were first formed, when the Rebellion began, she joined their ranks. She took names and ruthlessly captured and destroyed gems, not caring for the ramifications of her actions. She won battle after battle, started to form her own team, saying that she fought for Rose's cause, but as her team grew into an army, and her territories growing with each and every battle won, she started fighting against everyone, both Homeworld and Crystal, saying that Rose had become corrupt with power, she tried to make many of Rose's to turn against her. It's easy to see who truly became corrupt and greedy with her power. And then, to make matters worse, she started to become paranoid that her own would betray her, and then enforced loyalty by using her mind-controlling roses. Rose Quartz couldn't bear that Kainite would become a monster like this, and then proceeded to attack Kainite's empire with everything she had. Kainite sent out her roses, raged hellfire across the land. She had brought hell on Earth, a mirror of Yellow Diamond, except, all the order had gone into chaos. Rose found a way to use her canons to create a frequency powerful enought to wipe out the roses from controlling the hosts, and everyone turned on her then. She was left powerless, and, to her surprise, she was forced to retreat into her gems when she was slain by getting cut in half by Gaspeite's axe. Gaspeite had said to her, 'We don't need anymore tyrants in this universe.' Kainite currently resides in a bubble, in an abandoned gem base.
