TBH, the first episode was rly cheesy and I wasn't sure how I felt about it, but as I watched on, it grew on me and I can only expect it to get better?? But tbh I LOVE HUNK AND CARON, THEY ARE SO GOOD, A+++ MUSTACHE AND A+++ CUTIE CHUB GOD BLESS. But Pidge is also CUTE AF DANG. I love them all, my children.

This reboot is basically in an anime style tho
And a lot of the characters are POC and it's really nice
So far the animation is actually pretty dang good
And the colors are A++++

Tho in the reboot Allura isn't technically one of the tiger's pilots, but she does control and 'pilot' a gigantic flying city/castle thing
She's also in charge of the whole team in essence

Tbh they'll probably have an episode or two where she pilots the black tiger because she's just as much a leader as Shiro is, but I know that probably seems unnapealing to you.
