So you came too close to an adult Sergal's den, now you've done it, you're face to face with an angry Sergal Mommy.She hid her babies in the cave below... great going. betcha feel dumb now huh?
This was really really fun to draw, it's first time i draw a Sergal and it was quite the fun.

The picture, while being fairly original, seems to rig familiar to me. However, the creature and the coloring is very unique and catches the eye. The details on the creatures physical features are very well done and are nicely defined thanks to the contrast in colors. While the upper half of the creature is very detailed, the lower half could use a little work. The feet are as detailed as the hands, but their placement on the tail seems awkward. Another issue is the grass beneath the feet. The way it settles around them detracts quality from the over all image, as it almost seems as if the creature were inserted into the grass after it was already drawn. The background could also use some work, as the fade out from the stones seems somewhat sketchy. The fur on the neck is very well done, and it adds a certain life to the creature, although the mouth could use some more detail. Over all, the picture, while not being the most astounding I've ever seen, is far from the worst, and shows definite talent and skill.

I love the overall design of this character. Different and well balanced. A believable creature. The pose is alittle bit off, I dont like how it looks like its standing on it's own tail, and I dont know whats up with that white dot between the legs? Overall love it.
