Man your screenshots are awesome! But I am really lost on where to even start with subtle, have any good tips or maybe a guide?

Okay I definitely will. I'm actually leaning a bit toward Openbox. Right now I'm using awesome and I'm not a huge fan of it's tiling method, but Subtle's method does attract me toward it quite a bit.
