Description
After a year long hiatus from digital art, I decided to plug in my faithful Wacom tablet pen and pull up Photoshop Elements. It's been a rough year for me, and instead of sticking to my usual digital art I decided to study some traditional media for a while as you might have noticed in my last two uploads. I felt doing some realism and painting would increase the quality of my digital art. It was a very good learning experience, and I definitely feel like I improved my art in the traditional media sense. However, that led me to neglecting my DA account for quite a while.
Anyways, I am back, and recently I decided to go with a different approach to my digital art. Rather than going with crisp lines and gradient shading I recently acquired a more painterly style.
A lot of emotion went into this piece. I've been going through some emotion turmoils, but this piece represents the hope that still remains inside of me, the dreams I still hold onto. It was a very therapeutic experience.
I felt drawing a German Shepherd simply because they are one of my favorite dogs. They are absolutely beautiful creatures, so majestic.
I hope you enjoy it, please leave your comments and thoughts below, I would love to hear them.

Thank you! They really are gorgeous dogs! I'm glad you like my new style, I was pretty much just experimenting around rather than staying in my comfort zone for once haha.

They are!! I really really want one later in life when I'm older haha. And yeah that's good! I want to try something out of my comfort zone but I'm a little nervous!
