Didn't think I would start the New Years with some melancholy, but here we are. Happy New Year, everyone!

Enjoy this image of Jake Clawson at a winter evening, sorrowfully looking at something/someone from outside a store window because whatever he saw brought him bittersweet memories.

My personal headcanon for this is that it was a someone that Jake saw, an old flame that he remembered too well for him to let go of to this day. It had been years since they saw each other after the breakup, but here is Jake now strolling around the city at night, and happened to pass by a store where he saw his old flame doing promotional work for something. He couldn't resist but wistfully watch from outside, the feeling of bittersweet nostalgia of that relationship coming back to him, and afterwards Jake moves on and leaves before the feelings get to him too much. (Yes, I'll admit this was inspired by the ending of All Too Well's short film lmao)
